how can i get to another place i dont drive and i cant travel...
my work have float payments paid into senior staff accounts for payment into the till system..
I suggest your major problem is hanging on to your job, when they find out the level of your debt?
Try www.thinkmoney.co.uk I usually warn people against using them, because of their charges, but you've rejected all other advice. I suspect your employers will be unimpressed you've had to resort to them.
Best of luck, I'm not going to waste any more time offering suggestions for you to reject. (First time I've said that in almost 4 years.)0 -

So how do you get to work? Cumbria is not without public transport.
I take it you live there. After a look at the B/S you mentioned and the fact you have to be in their catchment area to open a account.my work have float payments paid into senior staff accounts for payment into the till system..
So you work in retail and they pay you the float, which you then pay into the till??
Which is why you need a bank account not with anyone you owe money too. As they have all said they will take these credits (not your money) to pay the debts.
Sounds to me like you have run out of options and need to come clean with your employer.
Sad as it may seem. Given your situation. You may find that you get sacked due to this (as you said).
Harsh, and not aimed at you. But true.
Many people who work in finanical services are in the same boat.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
I was in a similar situation a few years ago.
Initially I opened an Ida account with a building society, to pay my wages in. This was a short term solution. But only up to the value of how much can be paid into an USA. So this would give you maybe 2-3 months breather.
I was given a pass book to withdraw funds.
The big problem with this option is getting access to your money due to the opening times and only being able to go over the counter.
I then opened an online savings account with sainsburys bank, although you don't get a debit card, you will get an ATM card for link machines.
You can access your money at ATMs, and have online access.
Remember this is a savings account so no direct d edits etc.
But as the account isn't linked to another bank, you should be ok.
Good luck!On the road to recovery!0 -
The Post Office do a number of savings accounts you can receive credits into, I know they have a cash card account you can receive benefits from the gov etc into, maybe have a look at their site or visit a branch and speak to someone about this?0

You can only recieve pension/benefit into the post office cash account.
Have you tried something like Halifax Easycash? You can apply online for that (I did with mine) probably the reason you have been getting rejected is you've been applying for the full accounts... you need to be absolutely adamant its the basic account you want.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200
