How so? You take the item in store and they give you a price and if its agreeable they pay you and you leave.

On line, from reports I've read in the past, they give a price, you then send the phone away, you then wait a week or more and they then email and say you didn't declare a hairline scratch and they knock the quoted price down 25%-35% and even if you agree they mess about another week before paying.

Pretty sure I would prefer to sort it face to face at the shop counter and walk away if they start messing about with the quoted price.

Maybe you've been reading the wrong reports. This VERY well-established thread on here is overflowing with angry people who've tried selling in-store but few negative experiences selling on-line, as I have - many times - without similar problems.

It sounds like you haven't actually done either.

I've bought and sold things in store a number of times without a problem.

When I researched selling to them online I found plenty of horror stories and bad reviews around the net and that's why I went instore, if I had to sell a phone to a recycler online I would rather use Mazuma who have a far better reputation.
