Newborn sleepwear in winter?

You're right OrkneyStar re sleeping bags. There is a minimum weight a baby should be before being able to use one but I don't remember what the limit is. My LO was in a short sleeve vest, sleepsuit and under two layers of cellular blanket when he was born. But that was in July.0

Mine are nearly 13 and nearly 10 now, but I recall being told to distinguish betwen daytime naps and night-time sleeps. So day-time was downstairs, curtains left open and background noise and night-time was upstairs, curtains closed and quiet, if that is the issue.
Are you taking his jumper off shortly before going to bed? When I take my coat, cardi/jumper off and exchange for 1 less layer on my arms, I can certainly feel the different drop of warmth for a while. I had knitted some cardis that didn't have buttons, that could be used at night-time if needed to.
How did you get on with his sleeping last night?0 -
It is usually cold at the moment. None of my children liked being cold either. Use what blankets/clothes you think best."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0
