really fed up today... once I am debt free I will NEVER be in debt again. I think what REALLY doesnt help is that over half my debt is from a messy divorce in my mid twenties, the associated legal costs, ending up having to pay half his credit card, and sign over our jointly owned house to him and the woman he left me for as credit crunch meant equity then negliable. Sometimes still paying for this costly mistake really P*sses me off... Rant over...

I am extremely thankful on the other hand that all this happened, I now have a lovely other half of almost five years, beautiful baby daughter and gorgeous dog.

Been a busy bee today... Posted all my ebay parcels, and have added another 6 listings and have found lots more to add.

Went to drop OH oil painting to auction house ready for tomorrow. We played a game at the weekend walking round a carboot sale each with a fiver to spend to see if either of us could make a profit... I brought a fisher price baby play mat (now on ebay) he brough a scenery oil painting now at auction house...Was loads of fun, and a cheap way to spend sunday morning even if neither sell.

Then I was cardmaking at mums with our friend, which was lovely.

Even fitted in some housework :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hey, hope you don't mind me adding to your thread, as you are writing articles for craft magazines, why don't you think about setting up your own blog? There are a few things you can do once it's established to earn some money from it, and I know from working in this field that parents who blog about craft can get very big readerships, they charge for advertising and join blogging networks and are approached by PRs offering stuff to review, it can take a while and you need quality content but it sounds like you have that in the bag. Hope this may be a helpful thought? Good luck anyway with everything x
  • Haybel19 that car boot game sounds brilliant think I might have to try and find one near me ;) keep up the good work your doing brilliantly, and blog would be brilliant I love crafts (don't seem to have enough time) so would love to read it x

Love the carboot game, what a good idea. I hope the oil painting turns out to be a long-lost Rembrandt (did he even do oil paintings?!) and makes your fortune. Let us know x

Hey guys thanks for the replies. Thanks for the blog suggestions and encouragement. Would love to give it ago but not sure where to start? Does anyone have any pointers?

The painting didnt sell today will be in the auction again saturday... fingers crossed.

Have sold £28 on ebay after fees today. Very pleased with this. Got lots more on and lots of watchers so fingers and toes crossed. Have found tons more to go on including my jewellery making stuff, im much more of a cardmaker/papercrafter, founds lots of other odd and sods too.

Added another £3 or so to my sealed pot for the challenge which is filling up nicely and £13 for the payment a day challenge. Seem to have stalled on 1 debt 100 days challenge but OT gets paid friday so will crack on then. Im doing really well on make £10 a day in february and am on £79.50 so far this month. Really pleased with this- love the challenges they really keep me motivated and are both fun and addictive.

Went to baby group today and had a lovely time- my lil princess smiled and giggled throughout - she is so happy and content bless her.

She is all snuggled in her sleepsack, with Raymond Rabbit near by. I am laying in bed typing. OT does nights so I get to sleep like a starfish weeknights which is lovely- except on cold nights when there is no one to snuggle up too... or he comes in and comes to bed with cold hands and feet... :rotfl: I also get to hog the pillows and duvet- mind you according to OH I always do this anyway
    :rotfl:

    Sweet dreams.
