Netflix. Any good?

We love it. We're a house of four people and can all watch it, on different devices (Ipad, phones, laptops etc), at the same time. (Only one film can be viewed at a time, there's no limit on viewing TV series.)
You do need a games console to watch it on the TV. We use the Wii as we you need to subscribe to X-Box live to use the X-Box for Netflix. We don't have a PS3, so not sure about that.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

It's very good for TV series and not bad for films, it's getting better.
I play it either on my Android phone (unlimited data - although it doesn't actually eat that much), my ipad or via my TV through Apple TV.
Just make sure you have high download limits for your internet, otherwise you could end up paying more than just the £5.99 a month!.
Why not sign up for the free trial and check it out?0 -
It's awesome. Only two streams can go on at the same time though so don't be giving details out to too many people. My kids watch it in bed at night so I can't use it then.
I also pay unblock US a few dollars for dns servers so I can access the US Netflix which has a lot more stuff on it.:heart2:I have a child with autism.:heart2:0 -

We have more than two people using it at a time, it's been fine so far, as long as only one person at a time watches a film. Multiple viewings of TV series have been fine until now, I hope they're not changing that!
I didn't know about unblock, that's a great tip. Thanks.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

Hmm, I get a message about 'too many devices' when we all try using it at once.:heart2:I have a child with autism.:heart2:0 -
We also use Unblock US so we can access all the US content and it is absolutely fantastic. We've been working our way through lots of TV series and there's lots of foreign movies which I really like.
The content on UK Netflix is a bit limited though but even paying extra for the Unblock US DNS settings the whole thing comes to under £10 a month, far better value then Sky or going to the cinema.0 -
Could anyone give me a link for Unblock US please? I have googled but there are lots of options and I always seem to d/l the virus filled one.
Thanks0 -

When we were on holiday in the US netflix came up on the ipad, and their version is SO much better.
We really liked netflix at first, but weve seen most of the 'new' films on there already and the others are sometimes quite old/rubbish ones.
Tv series are ok - but again weve seen most of the ones wed want to watch anyway and they only have limited series. So we dont use it much anymore.
However the US one has pretty much everything, updated series, tons of films etc.
I was trying to access the US one using some instructions I found on google but didnt work because I hadnt paid for the unblocking thing - so I was wondering if paying for the extra money to access the US one was worth it, as I was worried it wouldnt work.
Which website do you use?0 -
I use http://www.unblock-us.com/
Never had any problems with it and it is definitely worth paying for.0 -

It depends on your DvD player too - we have a 'smart' DVD player so we can watch it through thatI also pay unblock US a few dollars for dns servers so I can access the US Netflix which has a lot more stuff on it.
If you are using an X-box you don't have to pay to get the US version! Just change your server settings/IP address or whatever and you'll get the US version for nothing. I can't remember exactly how my OH did it, but I can ask him if anyone wants to know.
We have the US one through the X-box and then use the UK one through the DVD player or iPad, becuase there are different things that are good about both. Some of the UK TV series you would expect to be on the UK one aren't, but they are on the US one and vice versa - it's odd. So well worth having both if you have a few devices.
We love it!0
