Not sure I can agree with you this time, DUTR.
If you look at these sim-only plans, you will see that 750 minutes of UK wi-fi is an integral part of the plan, not a bonus.

Under these circumstances, if, after doing everything correctly, OP can't access the promised wi-fi, then Vodafone are in default of their contract, just as if they had failed to provide texts or voice.
Thanks for that GD, just checked the link, I do have access to OZ but in Bham, it is not about everywhere, all the people I know that have access to OZ have a BTinternet account, I somehow suspect some if it maybe user error, as some Voda users must be able to access via wifi in a covered area.0 -
I happen to work in the city of london and have stood exactly at the spot where the hot spot is available and have a strong signal. Yet this still does not connect!
I have the Orange Wifi app and in order to connect to BT Openzone I had to get the service activated by requesting a download refresh password direct from within the app in addition to my mobile number. My standard orange password did not work.0 -
DUTR......please don't drop that user error rubbish!!!!
I have wifi access through Sky and have used other services in hotels etc. should not take nearly 6 months to connect and i will repeat......this is a known problem!!!!! If i could speak to one vodoafone user that has been successful with this I would be happy.0 -

There is a voda rep that frequents this board, so hopefully they may see it and assist, people do make mistakes you know, even you and I, as post #13 shows as well, perhaps the network need to activate a setting on the account .0 -
OK thanks DUTR.....I have sent an email to vodafone and once i get a repsonse I will update this thread accordingly0

Not sure if this is the case with you but a few years ago I had two contracts with Vodafone. One was an iPhone with the BT wifi and the other was an HTC Desire.
There was a problem with Vodafones system that only let the 1st phone on the account to access the wifi. The problem was they had the HTC Desire as the 1st phone so the iPhone could not use the wifi and obviously the HTC could not as it was not included.
This was resolved when I asked Vodafone to reset my online presence with them and re-add the phones in the correct order.0 -

So was there a resolution? I've been with vodafone's wifi thing on a paymonthly contract for years, and never yet been able to use it. I think there are only certain BT sites that allow non-BT customers to connect.0
