New Sort by End Date function

Hi all

As you may have noticed we’ve this morning launched the much-requested End-date sort function, at the top of the forum board, alongside the title and new thread sort.

It’s pretty self-explanatory, but please let us know any questions or glitches you spot by clicking reply below to let us know on this thread.

I've noticed when you click it the number of pages goes from 238 to just 73!?

Is that because of the use of the 'Unknown' end date?

I think more posters might use the the date box, rather than choosing the unknown end date, if you could correct it if you've made a mistake or the end date gets extended or whatever.

So is this new 'end date' feature working now (i mean, is it sortable, and if so, will we now be changing the way we post - ie just putting what the prize is rather than the E: XX/XX as we have this facility)?

Also, if you put the wrong end date, can it now be amended? If not, i think we are going to have a lot of problems!

Completely agree, when you go back to edit a post it's completely gone x

[STRIKE]PROBLEM WITH THE URL

When you first click on it, the URL is:-
forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72&sort=enddate&order=desc&daysprune=-1&filter=stickies,ended

The problem is that each time you click on the next page, the &filter=stickies,ended is added again, and again so the URL for page 6 is:
forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72&sort=enddate&order=desc&daysprune=-1&filter=stickies,ended&filter=stickies,ended&filter=stickies,ended&filter=stickies,ended&filter=stickies,ended&filter=stickies,ended&page=6

The URL will soon become ridiculously long.

ETA:-
If you reverse the sort order the &filter=stickies,ended is not included - so the problem doesn't occur.
