New Sort by End Date function

If you run a search for anything, e.g "classic" you don't get the end dates showing in the results! If you don't include the E:xx/xx you have no idea if the comp is over or not. Thus being a massive hassle...

what will be will be, but is there anyway of making sure the end date appears when you run a search?

Also If you save posts in your favourites to enter later you now have no way of knowing the end date unless you open each post to check or amend the titles when you save them--as I normally save when I don't have time to enter I wouldn't want to spend time changing the titles then either.

I'm sorry but I agree with the majority. I personally like to enter competitions on the day or day before they finish. The way set up now is confusing.

Just clicked on sort by end date and it's all over the place, I know it's early days but I can't see why both the end date functions couldn't run along side each other like they have been doing for the past few week? At the moment you can't sort by end date .

I'm not sure why the new system has been set up but if the end date cannot be searched then I think this experiment has been a waste of time.

Just come into forum and :eek: its all different AGAIN!

Now I don't mind adapting to change if it makes things easier (e.g. I love the red skip button) but have to say I hate this new system. I am especially finding it very difficult to read the end by date as I am blind as a bat and it annoys me having to enlarge the page.

Having read previous comments I would repeat the adage

If it ain't broke, don't fix it

I personally don't have any problem with the princples of the new system, but i feel the end date needs to be made more prominent, maybe a larger font & a different colour. Also i agree with earlier comments that we need to be able to include it in searches.

Ok I just tried it and I got to be honest for me personally liked it!
I normally sort by end date on the advanced thread and enter comps that have been posted. (just getting back into it after about a month off)
I have found that I have missed loads of comps even though I have searched for them in the advanced thread by putting i.e - E: 01/02 !
so for me it has been a bonus today entered loads more - now show me my winnings lol

I dont seem to have the new sort by button. Ive logged out and back in and its still not there.
am i doing something wrong as id like to try it out.
