If you call somebody using
My caller identity = NO

they will see it as a witheld number right?

are there cases where when you get called by the number, which is set to witheld that (so no identity) that they can see the number which is calling them?

by settings etc? in smartphones etc?

so, phone 1 = withleld number setting

phone 1, calls phone 2- which would ne no identity

is there any case/settings that phone 2 can actually see the 'number' from who is calling ?

for example, phone 1s number is Stored on phone 2,
and phone 2s number is stored on phone 1

edit
what is mean is, when the call is actually done, and when it rings,

is there anyway that instead of it showing "ringing witheld number"

that it actually shows the number ? (Due to some setting on the receivers phone)

The recieving party won't but the networks can retrieve the data if required.

As above, the number display is blocked from the network company before it reaches its destination. The network company is able to see the number, but that's as far as it will go.

The network could issue the number to the Police, or block the number from calling you. But you cannot just ask them for the number.

Probably only if they were required to by law and probably never directly to the consumer.

I'd guess it has to be an official request from the police or similar.

    I don't think they could.

Yes, a few Years ago when I had a flurry of obscene phonecalls from a withheld number, I had the offending caller blocked from phoning my number, although I never did find out who's number it belonged to, my network company had no trouble in blocking whoever it was calling me up on their withheld number.

The problem is not that the number is withheld. Normally networks just don't block numbers and advise you to change the number instead. Your circumstances might have been exceptional.
