How do I find a fee free whole of market mortgage advisor - have looked in yellow pages, local press etc and cant seem to find one?
Thanks

Hi Cristelle
What area are you in? There are usually loads of mortgage brokers advertised
Have you tried googling "mortgage advice fee free AREA"?
you could always check this site
www.adviserfinder.com
But the best way to find someone is to get recommendations from family and friendsI am a Mortgage Adviser

Thanks for that MortgageMamma - only friends that I know that have purchased recently are self employed with a different situation to me (they have loads of money)...
I am in the Lowestoft Suffolk however looking to move to Great Yarmouth Norfolk.0 -
It does not really matter what your friend circumstances are - a competent mortgage broker will be able to deal with any situation they are faced with
Perhaps some of the forum users will be able to recommend someone in your area. There is an article on this site recommending a number of brokerages but the only one that does not charge a fee is London and Country and the are phoned based - however, don't call them unless you have found the property you wish to buy as they won't deal with you unless you have! (I know, madness isnt it?!)I am a Mortgage Adviser

Part of the problem in that when it comes to searching you need to look for Independent and no broker fees. As far as FSA is concerned a broker is either independent or not.I like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0

Thanks Ken, that was a really nice thing to do for this forum user. By the way, you should copyright your signature, as me and my new business partner are considering using your EXCELLENT wording on our website and promotional literature, even on our radio ads
No Selling. No Jargon. Just the Facts.
Sounds good don't you agree?I am a Mortgage Adviser

I'm in Lowestoft but of course I cannot recommend anyone on the forums.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Kenshaz, it's traditional and good practice to say who you're quoting. Including a link to the source of the copyrighted FSA wording you're using would be a good thing.0
