why are they saying 3 on demand and 5 for sky on web site noing its no good 24 month contract0

Talk talk recommend a 3mbps connection, an engineer does the install for £50 which is a huge rip off because all he does is plug in a cat 5 and aerial cable and go home.0

There are actually two speeds required for YouView from TalkTalk.
To view the on demand content on the Plus TV package, 3Mbps is required. However, to purchase and view TV Boosts, 5Mbps is required.
And a bit more info -
Existing customers have to take out a new 24 month contract and also lose any discounts they were previously recieving.
New customers are offered an 18 month contract.0
