Happy birthday Karren :bdaycake:Hope you've had a good day x
I haven't really had much of a 'doing' day sadly. I've had a headache all dayso been taking it easy. I made a nice big salad for lunch, and made roasted veg couscous for lunch tomorrow. I've done some bits round house but not tackled spare room yet.

Thank you Hester x
Kid's Dad has taken it over and he has been filling it in - I just couldn't cope with it xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Evening
Been snowing on and off today, so DS and I have had another day in. Not very productive but enjoyed some DVDs and comfort food. DInner tonight is some YS Beef with roasties, veg and yorkies, followed by rice pudding and jam. Also made some cakes and a pizza which we will take for packed lunch in the week.
OS WM been on washing on airer, DW emptied, menu planned for next week, along with at least 5 NSD, overtime comes to an end this week so while its kept the wolf from the door during a very lean period, the belt will have to remain tight for a while longer yet. Good news DD has sold few bits on ebay so wont need my money to tide her over for the rest of the month.
Happy Birthday to Karren, thoughts to all who need them.
DS just asked me why Tarzan has long hair and no beard??? Only thing I could come up with is that hes on 15 so hasnt started shaving yet, whereas his hair has grown since he was a baby!!!Thoughts to all. Mrs D.

Evening Everyone
Still no snow! Hope you are all surviving. It has been mighty cold though.
Went to Edinburgh to meet up with DS2 and some friends, had a lovely lunch and a look around some of the museum, really enjoyed it.
Happy Birthday Karren
Good to see you again Candy. Can't believe your mum's friend can hang on that long.
Take care. XX0 -

Thanks hun, we can't believe it either , but she is/was a large lady so not sure if that makes any difference. It's taking it's toll on mum who has been visiting her every day for ages"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"
