Posted item same day, have been left 1/2 stars for despatch time!

Thanks to Soolin's advice I have finally looked at my seller dashboard, I tend to sell in bursts and there is always so many changes, I had put off looking until now. Was relieved to find only one low score, but surprised it was in the despatch time, as I would say this is my strongest point. Anyway ran a report, brilliant isn't it? I didn't realise it would give the buyer's partial postcode. Before Christmas, I sold something on BIN on a Thursday, I normally post next day but I got it posted the same day. Had a blunt message from him on the Monday to say item not received when can I expect delivery?' I sent a polite reply saying I had posted them the same day he paid, and that RM aim to deliver 2nd class within 3 working days, which was the Tuesday and heard no more.
I was not surprised to find it was him who has given me the low score! What a cheek, if he bothered to look at the postmark he could check the date I posted it!
I will block him as a bidder now, was considering that anyway. Is there any way of knowing if it was a 1 or a 2 star that he left me? And can I get this removed as all messages were via ebay?

It is only postage that they can't leave stars for, if you send free post. They can still mark you down on dispatch time. Problem is, for a lot of people that translates as 'delivery time' - which over christmas and in bad weather, may well be slower, regardless of dispatch time.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

Yes you can see exactly what you have, but I am terrible at explanations so I will give it a try but for your sanity you might want to wait for someone else to explain it better:
seller expanded dashboard>
then left hand column -detailed seller rating reports>
then 'create report' and fiddle about with what you are looking at to get the report that shows you all your ratings and in which category of stars they fall.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I do think some of these people must just be too thick to realise that dispatch doesn't mean delivery. If, for example, I bought an item which was marked as dispatched on the 20th, and it arrived on the 4th of the next month, I'd check the stamp/postmark on the parcel, and as long as it had been DISPATCHED when the seller said it had, I'd give them full 5* for dispatch. I'd only mark down if they either lied or if they didn't post for ages (bearing in mind some give a dispatch estimate of several working days, which I wouldn't factor in as they'd been honest).
Some people really don't seem to understand these seemingly basic and obvious things and it's quite depressing.0 -

Yes you can, I am actually leaving feedback on another screen as I type this.
Where sellers have 1 day dispatch and free postage I am only able to leave feedback for item description and dispatch.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
