A quick update. This thread is growing so fast!

I had a slightly more relxing day today. I got up at 5.45, not sleepy, and pottered about doing a few weekend jobs. This will leave more time to hit my new targets tomorrow and Sunday.

I got to work early too and had a catch up day there too. Very pleased to report that I remembered to eat my lunch, banana and an orange, as I had a meeting so had to sit down. Then I managed a drink of water too. Also left earlier and was home by 5.40 so I loaded the car with some charity stuff which I can take in the morning.

Good luck with your targets everyone.

Well done everyone! I've written the day numbers in my diary on Mondays, starting from when I posted I was joining, so today is my day 13 - good grief, this is *fast* - 101 days isn't very long, actually, is it??

Well, my goals were divided into four:
    1. Finances. All I've done is leave a message as to which mortgage offer I'm going to accept. Since I'm not going out tonight, I might potter onto some of the threads on matched betting, do a bit more learning, its quite relaxing doing it that way.
    2. The house and garden. Am completely ignoring the house now, since I did so much before my mum came down to stay. *Now* its a question of rescuing the garden - with both front and back and just me to do it (its big enough to have about 8 trees in, its by far the biggest I've ever had) there is a *lot* of ground. I'd almost rescued part of the front from weeds, and they've nearly taken over again. Just been out there weeding and pulling things up - thank heavens the rain has made that easier, but it held off while I was out there. I'll have to do the same tomorrow with the other patch I've done, which is in a lot more trouble, its further away from the house and looks pretty bad actually. Doable if I get out there *now*.
    3. Me. Cutting sugar not too bad, just done my stomach exercises while I waited for the computer to come on, ha!, and thats it for now. Okay.
    4. Work. Nope. Nada on this part, which was updating my website and getting my accounts done, haven't got it planned in for next week either. Maybe June, thats still within the challenge, it would be good to focus like that.

Thats it for now. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

    2. Extend the vegetable area of my allotment, cut down on soft fruit (I really don't need 8 long rows of raspberries and 16 blackcurrent bushes, most of which I give away having spent ages picking) tied up raspberries, spread more compost:T
    3. Declutter! When MIL died most of her furniture came here until we decided what to do with it - and it's still here 3 years later. two bags to chaiy shop(50 to go:o )
    4. Carboot all the smaller stuff not yet
    5. Learn how to use Ebay - it's the pictures I cant do not yet
    6. Take something to eat to work and remember to eat it. Usually eat it on the way home in the car achieved once this week
    7. Open this years ISA before April 3rd as usually happens planning for this
    8. Make curtains for window in new lounge extension (built in 1993 )
    9. Go swimming on Sunday am
    10. Contact people I'm in danger of loosing touch with. one down, several to go

    How did I do?

    1. Loose weight - by just eating properly 7/10
    6. Follows on but this might make me do it 2/10
    3. Declutter - by doing 4 & 5 4/10

ps First challenge is to do what it says in my sig[Quote/]

Oh crikey, what day are we upto? I have totally lost track, along with the rest of my marbles unfortunately. Has not been such a good week, the wrong time of the month coinciding with my 21 month old son turning into a monster toddler...I think the terrbile 2's are starting to kick in. And hubby has been away all weekend & his mobile keeps going out of signal range so I am feeling lonely too. But these are all excuses & I need to be firm with myself. Therefore I pledge that this week I will have a perfect week!

    1) Lose some weight
Will update next week when I go into Boots as I trust their scales much more than mine.

    2) Eat a salad meal at least once every 2 days.
Been pretty good with this one!

    3) Have at least 1 chocolate free day every week.
I did eventually manage a chocolate free day this week and I am going for another one today!

    4) List at least one item a week on ebay or amazon or do a car boot sale.
Sold a cupbaord on ebay for £16, got £63 at last weekends car boot sale & as a bonus got £14 from some books which I had listed on Amazon a few weeks ago. Need to photograph more ebay stuff for this week.

    5) Cleanse my face every night.
Failed the last couple of nights as I've just been too damn tired to remember, but I WILL get this back on track!

    6) Be stricter with myself about sticking to the grocery budget.
Failed miserably. It is on my mind & I really will sort it out....soon...:o

    7) Use that flipping Davina MaCall workout DVD at least once a week!
This went to the wall this week but I have it planned for tomorrow morning & I really do want to get this back on track so I am hopeful of a recovery.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their own challanges;)

This was part of my post from yesterday, with a kind of summary of the situation so far. I've added in the plan for next week.

    3. Me. Cutting sugar not too bad, just done my stomach exercises while I waited for the computer to come on, ha!, and thats it for now. Okay.Actually, thats not it, I have a routine dental appointment tomorrow. Haven't been using interdens quite so regularly as usual, so my dentist will be annoyed with me, oops. And I'm trying to get round to phoning a mate today.
    4. Work. Nope. Nada on this part, which was updating my website and getting my accounts done, haven't got it planned in for next week either. Hmm. Its lucky I work from home and my actual paid hours are fairly short, isn't it...........

Update from me and welcome to Hope 78

    1. get a job - got an interview with a recruitment agency on Tuesday and they have a few suitable jobs on their books for me - fingers crossed. Had my CV passed onto two companies for a jobs but heard nothing back yet.
    2. Lose 5 lbs and generally get a bit fitter - erm.... due to number 5 I am currently putting on weight :o did go to the gym 5 times last week though so I could always put it down to building muscle instead of burning off fat ???? convinced yet ???? muscle does weigh more than fat apparently :A
    3. Eat more healthily - I am keeping to planned meals but am currently eating choclolate like there is no tomorrow :D
    4. DD wants to go to stage school - spoke to school and scholarships are still not totally decided upon so still a waiting game on this one
    5. pack in smoking - one whole week today :T

how is everybody else doing ?
