the pin code is on the sim card-not the phone so it will be the same as its always been.
i think the default code is 1210
if you have forgotten it and enter wrong code 3 times then you will need the puk code from tmob cust services

I have done that with the T-mobile sim card and then it requests a restrictions code...I assumed that would be the unlocking code but it doesn't accept that.

the pin code is for the sim
the restriction code means the phone needs unlocking
use nokia sticky to get your code

possibly a blocked phone (and/or someone has tried to change imei) or maybe someone has reflashed it incorrectly
