Anyone help me with Samsung E330????
  • At the risk of incurring Browntoa's wrath, I hesitantly post the question below only because having read the first post, all of the references seem to be to Samsungs and even though I am remarkably dim on this subject, I would have thought it would be possible to unlock phones other than Samsungs?

My mother has an oldish Sagem myX-2 which is on pay as you go with Orange and we'd like to unlock it for her. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a free unlock - I've seen the references to cables - I have no idea what this is but it doesn't have any cables with it - only the phone and its charger.

    Thanks and sorry Browntoa!
    Regards

    lol, I'm not that scarey

the cable route is the only way for these, it's probably cheaper and easier to find a market stall/ boot fair where they can unlock it for you direct

    ###### Please be aware that you use these codes at your own risk, this is just a list of codes from various sources that have worked in the past. ####

Do not ask for codes in this thread

Most Motorola's , LG's , most new Samsungs and Sony Ericssons cannot be unlocked by code and need to be unlocked by direct cable or clip in a shop.

If there is not a code listed for your phone below then there is NO free way to unlock it, you need to find a shop or Market Stall to do it for you (correct as of 18/06/06)

How To Unlock NEC E525 + E515 + E530 (with thanks to Ali's Knowledge Base)

To View the original article please follow this link to Ali's Website here

So you have bought yourself a cracking phone and you want to unlock it to all networks (this method is confirmed working in the USA for both phones using the second command below) .

    1. Obtain the NEC usb drivers from HERE
    2. Buy yourself a NEC usb cable HERE
    3. Get yourself the excellent Nectalk from HERE
    4. Install drivers and plug the phone in. Your OS will go through the new device installation.
    5. Once all installed, go to the directory where you have unzipped Nectalk and type

nectalk -pt pte 10079 unlock (for O2 uk )

or for other networks just type nectalk -pt unlock

The software will connect to the phone and then reboot it.

Once rebooted your phone will be fully unlocked.
