Hi,

The Mrs and I are off to live in NZ and I was wondering if I will have to get the phones (that are currently on a vodafone UK contract) unlocked to be able to use a Vodafone NZ sim card.

If so, is there a procedure other than going to the market? (have looked at the other unlocking posts and there arent any Sharp related ones)

I have 2 Motorola a835 and 2 c975s on 3.

can anyone tell me where the cheapest place on the net my be, or does anyone know someone in my area (East Cornwall) that may be able to quote me a reasonable figure for all 4 phones?

I'm getting quoted some £15 at the moment - the same price as 3 will charge!

dont know any one in your area but if these are new ones and need testpoint then £15 is a good price

I'm coming to the end of my Orange contract, I have my PAC code and want to unlock my Samsung D500, by trying the code on page 1 of this thread.

If I successfully unlock my phone, will the existing Orange SIM card still work for the remainder of my contract?
