I am also looking to unlock a Tesco Mobile Sony Ericsson J100i. I used to be able to use my O2 sim in a Tesco mobile (FYI the Tesco Mobile network is provided by O2) but it seems like they have clamped down on that. Reading other threads, it looks like this model is not free to unlock. What is the best way to go about getting my wee phone unlocked? I'm a bit wary of visiting dodgy shops and sending credit card details to suspect websites.

hi does anyone know if a v3i is easy enough to unlock is it just a case of takin it to a shop/market stall or is it a network only job cheers for any help.

i think these are only test point unlock, so a market stall job.

im not sure if these can be done with software yet

cant be done free but can be done now without testpoint or you can get the code for £10 if its on the database

I've looked about online and have found mixed findings, some websites say you can't unlock a Sagem MYC5-3 remotely and others say you can and are charging £24.99!
