Further to my post #1219 above, got the T610 unlocked this morning for £6, no problems. Now up & running and very pleased.

this may work, but i think when you take the battery out, it locks itself again

TEMPORARY UNLOCK:
Put a non-accepted Simcard and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. You will get a new menu. Select Malloc Fail.

i think if the phone is over a year old, its free from vodafone

no ,direct unlock or service provider only. these can be done at independent shops/market stalls

Hi sorry to sound thick, free how ?? do you mean if i call them they will tell me the code ?? ive tried another network sim and it says Invalid Network sim. They phone is pretty old now ive had it for 18 months, god knows how long the person before had it.
