Hi I have just received a £60 parking charge for stopping for less than a minute whilst leaving Liverpool airport. The reason was my 7 week old grandson was making some distressing sounds.Anyway Am I right in believing that they have to prove who was driving and the best action is to not enter into any correspondence, also I am under no obligation to help them find out who the driver was,any help out there.0

Ignoring is no longer an option.0 -
You need to get the word out about this on twitter and use @LPL_Airport and @LPLParking in the tweet. Make it public and perhaps they'll rethink their use of VCS.
I've started here @JonCrawshaw, and Liverpool Airport are suddenly interested in talking to me.
Also add reviews to Yelp etc.
Publicly complaining direct to Liverpool Airport might work, rather than wasting time appealing (They'll always reject it, and the IAS are in cahoots and will do their upmost to reject it too).
We should get this spread by social media.0 -

jon566 , you are behind what is actually happening behind the scenes
1: information passed on without valid reason (stopping not parking)
2: not relevant land
3: IPC cannot adjudicate on stopping offences
etc etc etc , the DVLA have already responded and shot themselves in the foot.
there is a fighting fund set up for the first case that actually makes it to court , there there house of cards will fall , once and for all.0 -
as above .......
but if you are interested in helping then by all means please fill in the Government consultation survey ( and please pass it on)
