How easy is it not to think where that PayPal money is coming from (i.e. your bank account!)

Snap! Problem is I'm selling just now (doesn't happen often thankfully!) so it's just too tempting to not look when I'm checking my listings :o

Well its tuesday and i'm doing quite well i think.

Mon: Bought a takeaway £8.50 (naughty me!)
    Tues: NSD!

    Total so far £48.50/£100

Want to be really tight this week and have as much left as poss by payday. Managed to pay off 2 catalogue accounts in full yesterday which felt amazing!!!!!
    Looking for a fresh start
  • SUN - NSD

MON - 10.55 (lunch at work as i forgot to take mine out the fridge! and some bread, milk, butter, possibly a bar of galaxy and a bottle of coke from corner shop cos aldi was closed by the time i realised we’d run out)

    TUES - NSD

    so far

    10.55 / 20.00

found 3 quid in another bag so have added it to this weeks budget

    Total left: 12.50

tomorrow is snow dependent, forecast heavy snow from 6pm tonight to around 9am tomorrow (although we had snow last night and it was gone by the time i woke up :rotfl:) so may need 2.50 to get train to work if i can’t get the car out, no bother walking home as it gives me an hour or so to play in the slush! Rest of the week seems clear so aiming for NSD’s thurs and fri - may treat myself to a bag of chips and a beer saturday night

OH is not participating so once the bread, milk etc is gone its his turn to stock up!

My disposable income this month works out at around 56 quid a week so the 20 quid budget is really helping me save a few bob!

Also had an offer from my mates mechanic to do a free mot pre-test on saturday - he reckons i’ve panicked and budgeted way too much and will do mates rates if i need any repairs. Huge relief!
  • Oh my. Already the week has gotten confusing....

    Sunday: NSD
Monday : Found £1 in coat pocket and mum gave me £20.00 for some baking I did for her friend, but then spent £18.80 on a magazine, 2 pairs of jeans and a blouse and 3 malteser bunnies (only wanted the chocolate bunnies but the sale rail tempted me)
Tuesday: £8.70 on parking at the hospital and £7.65 prescription.

    £35.15/£41.00

Well yesterday & today are turning into NSD's too - who'd have thought it! :D
Need milk, but hubby can get it on the way home as he's not participating, lol. He's away tomorrow night & was going to treat myself to a pizza, delivered, but really - £10 minimum just for a bloody pizza. No frickin' chance - I'm not even going to buy an Asda one for £1 - I'm going to eat out of the freezer!!! :D
    Still £17.80 left of £20 budget :D:D
    C xx
