    Thing is....

This is EXACTLY what they want and have been trying to engineer. Apparently, it's good for us all.

Therefore, surely considering this was the plan (and labours too) (i.e. to devalue the currency) you should be giving them credit?

And Hamish, stop spamming you silly boy.

Be nice to other moneysavers Graham....:money:

The pounds gained against most major currencies in 2012 and gained against the euro for 4 years on the run so they can't have been doing a very good job!

Perhaps we're now witnessing the inflationary effects of £375 billion washing about in the global banking system. Far exceeds demand.

I don't think they want to devalue yet, we don't have enough to actually sell to make it worth while.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

Tourism. The legacy of the Olympic games. The UK ranks as no 4 in the world. Of countries people most want to visit.

As a local. I have no idea why.............

And the royal family -- that is a huge tourist draw. One of the most mind-bogglingly stupid of all the ideas that the lefties promote (and it is a very competitive field indeed) is to do away with the monarchy.

I include the monarchy in history: I suspect that if the Americans or Aussies introduced a King then it wouldn't have the same draw.
