Santander 123 Account
Comments

There is nothing I can see in the T&Cs that says the DDs need to pay monthly (or anytime). But you should confirm for yourself ...
...NB. DDs aren't the only pre-req for interest to be paid (just in case you thought they were)
oh dear, now you are making me nervous! i hope you just mean paying in £500 a month, plus, or rather minus, the monthly £2 account fee?
it already feels like i'm being obliged to jump through small hoops to qualify for one of these accounts. i could perhaps stretch to the placement of a small window sticker, if tastefully designed, but i firmly put the foot down at having 123 tattooed on my forehead, no matter how small the typeface.0

No, I forgot to apply through a cashback site :wall: :wall:
And to top it: I also forgot to use Quidco when I decided I want the 123 credit card. Bothers me a lot, this forgetfulness.
I wouldn't worry, looking at quidco a lot of people don't get the cash back anyway as it is declined with reasons unknown.0

Nudge it, they tend to send it onwards to the company then, about 3 months after that you should get a reply.0

I have been using Quidco for a few hundred transactions over the years. I had very few transactions not tracking or declined. All the big ticket items have been paid, one or two of them after I put a claim in. In total, I got almost £2,000 in Quidco cashback. (Amazing then that I forgot to check for Santander cashback, not just once, but twice )I wouldn't worry, looking at quidco a lot of people don't get the cash back anyway as it is declined with reasons unknown.0

My quidco cashback was declined and they are looking into why for me with Santander... Interesting to hear others have had same experience. Otherwise am really happy with the account management (web and app) and interest/cashback.0

My quidco cashback also initially tracked then disappeared for whatever reason.
Now I have to go back to Santander and get the OLA for the application so they can raise a claim.
All my other transactions are fine so this is a bit suspicious...0

I just transferred my old Santander (Abbey National) - showing my age!! account into the new 1-2-3 account.
I now feel a little peeved that I never thought of going through a
 cash-back site first.
Not sure whether they would have paid out however since I was already with Santander.
Good luck to everyone claiming back any cash backs.
Normally I have found them OK in the past.0

Just taken the plunge and applied for the 123 account through Quidco, though having read some recent comments, I'm not holding out much hope of the cashback.
I already have a joint current account and several savings accounts with Santander, so should be ok
On the other hand, this will be the 5th 'current' account I've opened in the last 3 months :eek:0
