If they hadn't, I think I would have opened a dispute, as although the listing says lower down it's for one ticket, it also says FIVE times the word 'tickets' so when viewing on my blackberry, it did come across as being for more than one, especially given the price...

There was more than one ticket available hence plural, as stated at top of listing the buyer had to choose how many to purchase at the cost stated per ticket . Therefore the buyer had to opt for a number before pressing the BIN number , the default being 1

BINS for multiple items such as tickets are usually done like that.

If a seller has for example ten tickets and lists them as "Ticket" in the singular, then many seeking two or more tickets may not look at the listing.

The Quantity box where you select the number required really could not be clearer.
  • For future reference, check out an ethical ticket selling site called ScarletMist - you can often find sold-out gig tickets on there when things come up and people can't go at the last minute and tickets must be sold at face value - it's a brilliant site. If the seller hadn't refunded you I would also have advised you sold them on there (for face value ofc).
