You lose money and tickets.
Can you not either, buy another ticket and put it down to experience or sell this ticket on a rapid auction and put it down to experience?Sealed pot challange no: 3390 -
I can't imagine I'll get my full amount back if I resell. What a mess
It was meant to be two tickets as a present for someone and now I have really messed up to the point im in tears Won through MSE: Iphone 3GS and 4s with Lucozade in Oct 2010

If i refused to sign for the mail what could happen?
think you would be better being out than refusing. if your out it will get returned to the collection office, i'm pretty sure then that if you dont collect it it will be returned to the seller, after a couple of weeks you could claim item not received and as seller cant prove delivery you would get your refund i think. only problem with this is if the postie gets someone else to sign for it.
All a bit shady though really.0 -
At the end of the day the seller has done nothing wrong in the lisiting, I always double check exactly what I'm buying.
One for the experience file I'd say.
Just try and get back what you can it for by relisting?0 -
The going rate for 2 tickets on eBay is approx this price, and I was viewing a few

Viewing a few but you bought this one. There is no ambiguity, you made the mistake.originaladidas wrote: »At the end of the day the seller has done nothing wrong in the lisiting, I always double check exactly what I'm buying.

Absolutely, this is NOT the seller's mistake.
Hopefully some kind soul will show the seller this thread.0 -
They havent arrived yet - what if i was to refuse to sign for them?
The listing is very clear. The price is per single ticket.
You made a mistake.
That is unfortunate but you should now behave reasonably and honourably and not try tricks to get out of your own error. Why should the seller lose out for your mistake?
1) Contact the seller and see if they will do anything.
2) Buy a second ticket.
3) Sell the ticket you have bought.
Emile Sande may sell out so you might end up making a profit.0 -
I totally understand I have made a mistake
I know I'm in the wrong.
Two things happened in the last hour
The postie has been - I assume he must have had the ticket but my husband was out at nursery, so that was out of his hands in the end anyway
I have emailled the seller pretty much begging
I hope they can be kind enough to accept once I pick it up from the PO.
Of course in the end I will probably have to suck it up (not like I can really afford to but hey ho
) and maybe I can resell. It is a sold out event already, and the tickets are standing so hopefully it could be picked up.
I'm not one for being a stubborn lady and I would much rather be honest and explain the situation than try and twist it to my own benefit. That's not really me.Won through MSE: Iphone 3GS and 4s with Lucozade in Oct 2010

If they hadn't, I think I would have opened a dispute, as although the listing says lower down it's for one ticket, it also says FIVE times the word 'tickets' so when viewing on my blackberry, it did come across as being for more than one, especially given the price...Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
