If you do get charged, call them up
I tried ringing them the other day and noticed their system seemed to be set up so they didn't have to speak to an actual person, i.e., it was all automated. I remember I had to ring them about 4 years ago and I got through fine then but this time... well I just gave up in the end!0 -
Where/how do I access this online? (to log in using this Pass key code). Do I have to register on their site and it seems put in all my card details again? If so I'm reluctant to do this as it seems it may take a certain amount every month (from the way its worded).
Heck this is turning into quite a sage. Beginning to wish I'd just printed off the form and got them to send it to me in the post, it seems a lot simpler.0 -
Sorry to hog this thread.. ok I just seen it says in the letter use the link provided in the email they sent - so went back and dug that out.. there's not an actual link but there is a website which I cut & pasted into by Browser - looks like it takes me to the exact same page I originally started at, i.e., I have to input all my gubbins again!! - and its asking for card details AGAIN! - this is crazy.. am not sure if I can be bothered (as I've moved around quite a lot this last few years & filling in endless forms/dates etc is tedious... not too mention repetitive!).0

Awe I've sussed/found it, at last!0

Oops, sorry, for the refund I didn't make a phone call, but sent an email to:
consumer.helpservice@uk.experian.com
A right mess around. Getting the Equifax one was much simpler.0 -
OK
got my email from them saying it's all on its way.
got my letter
logged in and got the report
IF IT CRASHES CONTACT THEM.
Seems to be the best bet.0 -
Error still happening... if I get two printed credit reports through my letterbox, I'll beat them senseless0

Received two order confirmations this morning... Email to customer services sent.0

Just tried to order my £2 file too. Inputted all my details and got same error right at the end.
Taking a long time to fix. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a scam to push you towards the credit expert monthly fee rubbish.0 -
I've noticed a pattern: all the error reports in this thread were posted in the very early AM. I'll assume the posts were made soon after getting the error. I wonder if their payment servers go to sleep at night0
