Pick the Galaxy S III over the HTC One X, No contest.

SIII has a removable battery and an external SD slot, and the SIM doesn’t need a tray setup like the One X.

S III is amazing you will love it.

I think OP was considering the One X+ rather then the One X.

Once upon a time there were the two most compelling reasons to go for the S3. This despite the S3 feeling plasticy and being a little on the big side and not that:eek: pocket friendly.

However, here is the catch with regard the being able to add an SD card. It's not a widely known fact that whilst you can move music and photos to the SD card you can't move any apps purchased from GOOGLE store . This was always possible with most apps if you were not using a widget and was a great way to save internal phone memory.

This now makes sense as to why the S3 is available in 32gb and supposedly in 64gb versions as well as the standard 16gb. THe crux is why would anyone pay more for larger capacity internal memory when for the cheapest price of a card you could boost it.

IF you like to load lots of apps you should get a 32gb because the 16GB uses about 5gb for the operating system thereby leaving you 11GB for apps.

My HTC has driven me mad with the small internal memory issue so I will wait for the S4 which is on the horizon.

Did I miss what the OP went for?

I'm in exactly the same position, trading up from a HTC Desire HD, which I love but has let me down with battery life - not even lasting a whole day now.

Battery life looks better on the SIII and One X+ (though still a daily charge I gather).

I think it might come down to the toss of a coin, as price-wise there's no difference.

One x+ has 64gb internal memory and is faster than the s3 in benchmark tests. No contest really...
