Back in 2010 when I hadn't been comping long I also won a Chris Boardman bike worth £1K from the ITV comp section I often used to post from. Hubby cousin was thrilled to bits when I gave it to her as she's a keen cyclist, tho' her hubby was rather jealous!

I won a five day trip to New York plus £1,000 spending money, meal at the View Restaurant, Macy's Shopping experience and a Spa treatment in Feb 2011.
This was via the Take me Out programme-which I do not watch so it was via thia site-did the relative thanks at the time.

Only a small prize compared to everyone else but i won a Dimplex Microfire. It is probably one of the most used prizes i have won though as the only other heating I have is the central heating.

Hi folks,

I know this isnt the right thread, but I have just started comping and im receiving loads of SPAM, most of which I just usually delete. Do WEM's usually have an obvious subject heading, just incase I delete any (if im lucky enough to win)

I have a filter set up on my emails to highlight anything with certain words in such as winner, congratulations etc. WEMs are easily missed otherwise and often go to your SPAM file.
