Carrying out a chargeback would be done through contacting my bank, correct?
Is it a long drawn out process or is it fairly simply and easy to do?

Yep through your bank/card provider. Ask for the disputes department.:T

Non reciept is as easy as it gets. you do have to allow 15 days from date of debit before it can be actioned.
We do non reciept over the phone (about 10 mins( I like to natter :rotfl:) )although it appears some want you to sign paperwork. Not sure why as its not required by visa.
Once done refund in a couple of day and the retailer has 45 days to contest.

If goods turn up and are fake, and you are not happy again talk to your bank as there are options avaiable. Only not as easy.

never heard of 'realypay' but looking at their website they look as fishey as the seller website
A payment processor that does not have any contact address on their website or a way for other retailers to sign up with them and whois privacy on their domain but they do have a dispute contact of Todaynic.com, inc.

I did actually manage to find a contact e-mail on their website which was "sales@realypay.com" but no reply as of yet, there also seems to be some instant messaging 'chatrooms'? that you can click on and will take you to a representative although they do not work for me

This sounds like the best way, thanks for all the help and I'll make sure I contact my bank after the 15 days.

Do you work for a bank yourself?

Alright thanks for all your help, there's been an update on the situation, as stated I sent questions through the 'realypay' service and they open it like a ticket which is sent to and from the merchant. The merchant answered a question stating "Got your payment, will ship asap".

I'm still not 100% but some communication is better than no communication right?

Another little update, he messaged back again saying he will ship them in 1 week due to the item being out of stock. I have to wait until the 31st anyway to issue a chargeback but if he doesn't provide a tracking number on the 31st then I will go straight to my bank.

I wouldn't of usually gone with the website but it was recommended by a friend that actually received goods from the website.

Sadly, I'd still not have taken the risk. Realypay seem to be associated with some very dodgy outlets.

Yeah I've read up on it and a lot of it seems to be the merchant's that use them rather than the company itself

Wouldn't you think that a reputable payment processor would be more careful which companies they were dealing with? Of course, there are some good Chinese companies, but there are a lot of others.
