So what??? I've eaten horse meat in france and it was nicer than the usual steak you'd get over here. Just because some people have hang ups over 'pets' and food.

Are the burgers saying using Uk meat? or were they made abroad?

If saying using Uk meat. I would ask why horse meat is in the UK abotior / food chain.
If made in a country using horsemeat in there food produce it may get cross contamination.

As mentioned above, its how it got into the food chain that is worrying, and misrepresentation's on the label

I have no problem eating it

Exactly, the issue isn't so much that is horse meat, more that it isn't listed as an ingredient so it removes any choice over whether to eat the food or not.

Quite glad I make my own burgers though now.
  • I checked the burgers in my fridge.

    Aaaaand they're off!

... and the factories are checking with their European suppliers.

For me the shocking thing is that they actually found meat DNA in tesco value burgers.
