I regret sticking to VLS100 and not staying with the US acc version - seems to have done a lot better.0

Are you suggesting that having a single sector fund would be better than a multi-asset fund?
And your measure of better is that one has grown by more than the other over a short term period?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I know, I know... It's just at one point I had both and decided to stick with VLS1000

Rear view mirror!I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -

Obvious solution, sell VLS100 now because it's not performing brilliantly and buy the US Index that is.

How easy it is to switch from VLS100 to VLS80, 60(say).
What kind of effort involved and what is the actual fee/cost of doing that ?
thanks
It's very easy, just a simple instruction to your platform, of potentially an email or phone call.
Costs will vary dependent on who you are with, many are free if they charge on a Percentage basis whilst others charge per transaction, the latter are typically £8-15 for online dealing though could be more.0 -
is it wise to have Vanguard in both your pension portfolio and your ISA portfolio? would it be better to put money in other places for both accounts ?0

Suppose it all depends on your objectives etc. You could have VG 80/100% in your SIPP and VG 40/60% in your Isa for 10-15 years for example.
I hold them in both my SIPP and ISA.0
