Bozita cat food

Just wondering if anyone had tried/uses this for their cats?

I was going to get whiskers for my new kitties, but upon reading things on whiskers, they only have 4% meat in there!

I've seen many people saying that Bozita is brilliant as it has 93% meat in and just wanted to get opinions before i buy as it's quite expensive.

Cheers :)

Hi, I've tried it and my cat likes it (more than Whiskas). I've bought the one that comes in tetrapacks, which looks disgusting but cat seems happy with it.

Another one that goes down very well and has also a very good meat % is Animonda Carni.

I buy both of them at Zooplus, always try to order £19 so I get free delivery.

:rotfl: Kangaroo, Buffalo & Ostrich. The flavours that they think cats would hunt and eat is brilliant.

But thanks, I'll have a look into that brand a bit more as well :)

What's delivery normally like on Zooplus?

It's not too bad, around 5 days usually, using a courier.

Yes, the other day I opened a pack made with elk!!!
  • If you're getting it from Zoo+ then try some of the others as well

Wee cat will eat Bozita but doesn't get through a whole pack before it goes off (big cat won't touch it)

They both love this one .... all flavours (which is a miracle for my cats!)

There's 6 tins in each pack so works out about 60p each ... not too bad

I ordered stuff from Zoo+ on Sat night, got my dispatch notice yesterday and it's already arrived!

There packaging can leave a lot to be desired sometimes tho' and it seems to get blamed on the couriers which I feel is a bit unfair sometimes.

With 95% meat I thought Mr Hop would love it.
I now have £28 of the stuff in a cardboard box in the kitchen :(

Some cats are really picky... luckily mine isn't, but we've noticed he gets sort of bored , so we rotate different brands (at the moment Animonda, Bozita & Whiskas, this last one he seems only to like to lick the jelly!!).

There's another one I tried and he loved, but can't remember the name now... it was expensive though, only bought because I got 2 boxes reduce to clear at Asda. Will post if I remember.

That's the same problem I've been having with big cat ... he'll eat the cheap (full of horrid stuff) stuff ....

hmmm, so what do i get, just cheapy whiskas for the time being and see what they like?

Being cats protection cats, they get different things all the time.

  • If they will eat anything - then I'd buy a mix of better quality ones and rotate them so they don't get used to one thing.

There's loads on Zoo+ if you're ordering on there & quite a few trial packs so I'd probably get a mixture to try

There is honestly nothing worse (and I've been there!) than having cat(s) who will only eat one thing (whether it's the cheapest / carpist or best quality food around) as you can guarantee that at some point the manufacturer will change it to a "new and improved recipe" that they won't touch!

  • My cat loves Bozita! Although it was difficult to start with. She would only eat Felix before and we did have to wean her off that by mixing the two for quite a while.

I buy from Zooplus but try to order £75 as you get a 5% discount.
