Argos refund on tablet

I brought my son a tablet for christmas and want to return it but dont know if i am entitled to a refund or not.

I dont think it is faulty but the internet on it is very slow and the battery life doesnt last much past an hour, the screen is also unresponsive sometimes.

I have read reviews and it seems people are having the same problems.

So would i be able to get a refund to get him a different tablet considering i dont think this one is faulty just a very bad model of tablet? If not a refund a swap to different tablet?

TIA

Did you buy it online or in the shop?
  • It was brought instore
  • When did people start confusing 'bought' and 'brought' so frequently?

    Bought is buying something.

    Brought is fetching something.

How difficult is that to understand really?

Some people are dyslexic, have English as a second language, have a phone that auto-corrects, make a spelling mistake or just maybe aren't great at spelling.

You're not I'm afraid. Unless the item has a proven fault or otherwise does not conform to contract then I'm afraid any refund is down to the goodwill of the retailer (and of course their own T&Cs). What make/model of tablet is it?

Your posts irritate me, therefore they should stop :p
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Is it exempt from the 30day guarantee?, if so then they don't have to take it back until its faulty.

However, that's not to say you can't at least try - you may get a sympathetic person.
