yes but it doesnt work, its hard to explain but i cannot get any picture at all unless the green cable is plugged into the white outlet and obviously this is wrong as all colour coded.
basically i have 3 outlets on the back of the tv - white, yellow and red.
i then have an adapter that came with the tv and i plug that into the back of the tv and that has a blue, red and green outlet.
so i have 6 outlets now on the back of the tv and 5 leads from the wii. im either not connecting them correctly or i am doing it wrong. the problem seems to be having a white coloured outlet on the back of the tv and no white coloured lead to plug into it0 -
Ignore the yellow - that's for the non-existent composite cable (RVL-009) that the Wii was originally supplied with. Ditto for the black one at the bottom as that's the headphone output.0

ok but when i dont have anything plugged into the yellow one i dont get a picture?0

someone mentioned about on another site about a setting on the wii menu options and that i need to ensure its set to HD or something similar, but i cannot change this setting if i cannot get onto the wii lol0

Hmm... can you take a picture of the aforementioned adapters?0

just had a play around with it - you are right i dont need the yellow connection.
i decided to play around with the sources function on the tv as i previously had it set to side scart. i found that the yp something function was the one i needed and wow works perfectly !
thank you to everyone who has helped me !!0 -
