HMV administration and returning goods?

With HMV going in to administration will I still be able to get a refund for some goods I bought?

I bought two copies of a game (I thought) in the sale but the price sticker was stuck over the writing on both packets which said that the game was not included and was just a pre-order code inside.

Upon opening the box the pre-order code expired 7days after the game was released which was about a year ago.

So I have effectively paid a tenner for two copies of nothing. I literally have nothing to show for my money, it's outrageous. Obviously I was furious and wrote an email to HMV but I doubt I'll be getting a response given their situation.

What I want to know now is will I be able to get my money back if I go in to store?

they are not in administration yet, take them back first thing in the morning before they make any official announcement.

the refusal of vouchers and all things administration were announced at 7pm this evening.

Would be interesting to hear others thoughts on them refusing vouchers tonight as well considering shares arent suspended nor have they officially gone into administration
