My frog is nearly gobbled and I am very pleased. Loads more frogs in the pond though.

Last few bits to do here then off to read a few pages in bed.

Goodnight all, off to bed now but setting the alarm 10 minutes early to defrost the car and make a start on tomorrow' s list before work. I know if I didn't work full time we'd be broke, but I'd have a clean and clutter free home :D

Great I've just had a sleepwalker and I haven't made it to bed yet. It could be a long night, cats are kicking off down here too and the teenagers have been told to stop cackling upstairs like witches next door to the sleepwalker.

Thanks Dusty for the new thread :D

I'm in this week again I hope. Tomorrow I was planning a paperwork day anyways as I'm trying to get my calender for the year sorted. So far I'm up to the end of Feb and just realised I've printed the wrong calender page out for March, I printed 2012 not 2013 :o Looks very strange having such a scribble free calender on the wall :rotfl:

  • Hello all,

I known of the Flyladies Thread for a while and even many years ago attempted to follow it!

I would like to try again as I have again reached rock bottom with the messiness and (paper work ) clutter.

so can I join for level one this week please?

    thank you

    xx

Thanks for the list and new thread :-)

Well I didn't do very well last week, I'm afraid (which was my 1st wk joining in). The dining room was so cluttered that I wore myself out a bit on that day (spending about 6 hrs tidying and cleaning in kitchen / dining) and the rest of the week was rubbish, but then spent 5 hrs on Saturday cleaning the whole house for visitors. This went great until we ran out of time and I dumped a load of stuff in our bedroom, so that is now a hyowge great big pile. Doh!

Am very keen to do better this week though. At least the dining room will be easier this week - it's the tidiest it's been in about 6 months.

Monday Living room (don't have study)
    Level One
    Clear the floor and hoover
HH Paperwork or decluttering (4 drawers out of ten left to declutter from last wk) + ton of shredding
    Level Two
Clean the radiators, behind, inside, defluff them (love doing that!)
    Dust any pictures
    Level Three
Do a 5 minute job that's been on your list for ages
    S&S the toilets and sinks
Get everybody in your house to help you for at least 5 minutes each
    Extras
    HHExercise
Start creating a folder with all financial information in (tip from Valli photocopy front and back of cards etc for an easy reference)
Clean all the screen pcs, phones, tvs etc especially touch ones

Am thrilled that the list isn't too scary / daunting - hoping to achieve level 3

Morning all. Welcome newbies. Thanks Dusty for the list.

For someone who doesn't do flying at the weekend and didn't have a very long list yesterday, I seem to have been rather busy. I'm in again this week around the dailies and the paid stuff.

    My list:

Put out rubbish and charity bag - done
    Dust my bedroom
    Shampoo cream rug - done
    Sort out blocked sink
Post fleabay parcel - now ready to go
    Collect prescription

    Clean screens, pcs, phones, tv
    S&S Toilets
    S&S Sinks
    Dust pictures
Clean radiator, inc inside and behind
Hoover/sweep/mop floor if hoover parts are dry

Have also washed up with difficulty.

    Have a great Monday everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
