Wednesday Hall, staris, landing, Bathrooms and loos
Level One
[strike]Hoover and Mop all these areas
Clean sink and toilet[/strike]
Level Two
[strike]Clean your grouting[/strike] - actually looking OK at the moment.
[strike]Declutter any drawer[/strike] - no drawers in any of those areas, but today I've gone through my entire chest of drawers and got rid of a load of old underwear and some old clothes
Level Three
[strike]Wash shower curtains mats and toilet fluffy hats[/strike] - only a bathmat to do. Mr Minx went through a bit of a bathmat fetish, so we have about 8!
[strike]Slap on some facecream, a mask, hand or footcream[/strike] - with the winds we get up here, a thick slather of Nivea is my daily friend....
[strike]Put away anything on the stairs or landing[/strike] - unbelievably, there wasn't anything!
Thursday - Master Bedroom
Level 1
[strike]Gather up all the laundry from various places
Change the bedding[/strike] - done on Monday.
Level 2
[strike]Clear the floor and Hoover
Tidy and dust at least one surface[/strike] - decluttered both bedside tables, cleaned, polished and vacuumed the dust out of the bedside lamps.
[strike]Sort belts/scarves/jewellery - can any be rehomed/sold[/strike] - no, but I've got a big pile of textiles for recycling after doing my chest of drawers.
Level 3
[strike]Dust the bed frame[/strike]
Wipe the door handles upstairs - DRAT! Forgot this one and I doubt it will get done now.
HHMe time - I wish....
Extras
[strike]Eat a frog[/strike] - see above re: chest of drawers...
[strike]Do your tax return[/strike] - done last June (yes, OK, you can all hit me now, but there was a very good reason for getting it in early - it got the £2000+ payment on account due on July 31st turned into an £84 refund!)
[strike]When is your car tax due[/strike] - next month.
[strike]More snow is coming - do you have milk, bread etc for the next few days? And salt![/strike] - apparently it's going to miss us up here, we've got clear sunny skies forecast for tomorrow with a little bit of snow overnight on Saturday. I'm getting another 30 bales of hay in though0 -

We have a small stock of cards in; but I always get him to help match card to recipient, as he knows almost all of them much better than I do.;)
Our visitor tonight won't be a major problem; Mr LW has known him for almost a quarter of a century, and he's our emergency key-holder - ie the person I can call if (for instance) I take a fall at home; he works in MK and Mr LW doesn't, so it makes sense to have someone who could get here quickly have a key.:o
I've managed to give the loo and basin a clean - I have two A-frames of washing over the bath, so can't do that (we do the bath at the weekend in any case, when Mr LW is here to lift the bath-lift out).
I've managed a gentle HH on the WiiFit, too; just got my Brain Training to do.;)
Dins tonight is mushroom risotto; shrooms and onions are already cut (thanks, Mr LW:A:A:A) so that'll be easy enough.:o
Mr LW is wfh tomorrow; and all being well, we shall finally get around to seeing The Hobbit.:D I've checked, and my CEA card is still in date, so only have to pay for one ticket.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hope you enjoy the Hobbit LW - I loved it, but my knees had seized up by the end of the film - it is a tad too long...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
