Just a quick post to say 'good luck' to Mr Ionafan and Mr Macpep, for their interviews today. Let's wish for good travel vibes to to Mr and Mrs Ionafan.
Take care, everyone, the forecast is dreadful for most of the country, I know a lot of fly ladies have got the snow and ice already.
LOADS of birdies at the table today! I'd also out out the fatty part if some pork chops and they loved that!
Off I go to do more and walk those doggies - then it's work!
Good luck, Elle, with all the things you have to do. R x0 -
Just a quick post to echo the sentiments of everyone else and wish the interviewees good luck for today.

Morning all
Good luck to Mr Macpep and Mr Ionafan.
I'm doing paid stuff this morning. So far I have 20/51 books back. I'm not expecting to get a few back and this year I'm cutting back on people who never return the books  Sick of wasting my money, I'm not exactly rolling in it!
Took DD to the bus stop, stopped at the corner of the main road at the traffic lights, said bye, at which point DD took of across the road just as the lights changed. Good job the first car was slow to start or she would have gotten run over :mad::eek: She wasn't impressed at me standing on one side of the road shouting at her for being stupid and not looking when she was on the other - hoping the embarrassment might have a positive effectLooks like I'll be taking her every day if she's going to be that dozy  If she does it again I'm going to make her hold my hand and walk her to the actual bus stop and stand there holding her hand until she gets on the bus
She'd hate it, but it'd get the message through. I'm also in the right sort of frame of mind to do it to her.
:rotfl:
Right, I'm back off out to hopefully pick up some more books. Put cards through doors who haven't left them out with "Please leave outside by 6pm tonight" or contact me with your order via email/text/phone. I am not going out in the forecast snow for hours chasing books. My health is more important! :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Ugh shopping took ages, don't know why, it wasn't busy.
So much for grocery challenge, I have bought us some nice treats. Well, when I say us, in my case I'm trying to lose weight so my treats are costly! But the kiddies have just had chicken pasta and are tucking into jelly and yoghurt now. I've got marinated tofu and almonds :cool:Bossymoo

Hi all
Very best wishes to Mr macpep and Mr ionafan.Lame Wolf, I can imagine you chasing a young cocker spaniel to the letterbox - who won?!! We'll be OK when we have the new glazed double doors up but until then we have to make sure we get to the front door before Pip - or shut her in away from the front door somehow.!
My "smalls" drying carousel has died.:( The plastic springy bit has perished and snapped off, so it's not repairable this time. I have a spare though, because L@keland duplicated the order, and when I emailed to tell them, they said to keep the extra goods, as it was their error.:T
I'm doing very little today; I'm still very shaky and more than a tad frail, and we have Mr LW's pal visiting this evening, so been told to conserve my spoons today.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
