as the thread ended in a disgraceful spectacle where a large number of posters (of which you at least appeared to be one) hurled disgusting abuse at one specific poster (who was also not blame-free but more vulnerable than those who chose to abuse him)

    Does that clarify anything?
  • I read that thread and Boots went in with accusations and insults then acted all innocent and hurt when a small measure was returned.

But it was ok for boots to attack, attack, attack?

    Who said that?

I disagree that most of the unpleasant abuse came from those who disbelieved OP, and in my opinion most of those who posted unpleasant abuse on that thread were in fact supporters of OP, which is why I pulled meritaten up on her assertion that most of the abuse was for those sticking up for the thief. I don't believe in re-writing history to pretend a very unpleasant attack on one poster didn't happen and had meritaten's statement remained unchallenged, then I believe that is what would have happened.

I believe this boots attacked and posters defended gently quite politely to begin with, I asked politely, only for more abuse, derogatory remarks, insults and blaming it on mental health issues and a broken society
