BPA have now asked for evidence of Parking Eye's lie, which I am happy to supply them. I appreciate ignoring PPC's is the best course of action but a lot of fun can be had by taking them head on, especially if you cannot be intimidated.

Must admit to having fun with parking eye in the past, they are divvies when it come's to their responses!

Best one I ever had was that "I had a moral obligation to pay"! Yea right!
  • I feel rejected.. they never replied to me!!
  • I have not left them much choice but to reply, no one likes to have their failings pointed out and as such feel they need to prove they have done something.

As always I will keep you informed, I would expect something back from BPA next week and my POPLA appeal is due 12th March.

Just to close the loop, I have received the findings of the POPLA appeal and they have found that Parking Eye does not have the authority from the landlord to issue parking notices and so my ticket should be cancelled. Thanks to everyone who helped me on the site, worth fighting back.

I think that PE are unwilling to disclose the details of any contract they have with the landowner, so they cannot show they have that authority. This is happening time and time again with this company. I wonder why they are so shy?

Could you post up the details of this decision on the POPLA thread?

So POPLA are running 48 days late then, since their original estimate was 12 March.

Not quite, Parking Eye filed a load of tripe as a defence and I took the opportunity to revise my appeal based on this info. Accordingly it took a little longer to deal with it as I did not send this additional "evidence" to Parking Eye so it delayed the decision. Funny as you will see in the adjudication Parking Eye supplied further evidence that they did not supply to me :)

I will post now, as you will see they sent part of a contract to POPLA, but they found it meant nothing. It would seem the best course of action is not to ignore, but rather to appeal to POPLA on the grounds of not sufficent authority. Until Parking Eye close this loop looks like a winner.
