Ive seen rocket and ham pizza in asda - thats what i'd be eating!

Maybe you can sell it - rocket is expensive in the shops, work collegues/ neighbours might want some!

    Hi rockie,

There's an earlier thread with ideas for using rocket that may help so I've added your question to it to keep all the suggestions together.

    Hi All

My Rocket is going crazy in the garden and i'd like to find more ways to use it, rather than just adding to my peanut butter sarnies!

    Can you freeze it ok?
Can you cook it--either as a veg, or by adding it to something??

    thanks all

You can actually cook with most types of lettuce, and rocket, from my own experience does well if treated gently.

Have a browse of these google links to get some ideas...

    google cook lettuce

    HTH :)

Or my favourite-pasta, with peas, broad beans & asparagus with pesto and rocket leaves? Just stir them through when you have coated in pesto-delicious :)
I pretty much top any pasta dish with rocket these days (well not carbonara, but tomatoey ones :D)

That's how I make mine, although you need to go on instinct rather than fixed quantities as the flavour is different so you need to balance the other ingredients accordingly.
