Husband an Expat overseas

I think that this whole thread is just designed to wind people up.
OP and her husband have been in the top tax bracket previously, husband is now abroad earning loads and the kids are here in private schools costing 10's thousands a year. BUT op mentions claiming back no matter how little it may be, People with that much money simply wouldnt be bothered and would certainly not ask on a forum. When you have that much money you have accountants, even I have an accountant.
Is it cats, is it dogs, no its bull"£%$0 -

If that's true then it worked didn't it? If people weren't so ready to jump down peoples throats without knowing all the facts when someone asks a question (which more often than not doesn't require lots of info just that some like kick others as it makes them feel better about their pathetic excuses for lives) then trolls wouldn't be tempted to post would they. IF this was a troll post then they will be really enjoying the fallout. If not, then you've had a lovely time bashing a newbie who asked a simple questionLove many, trust few, learn to paddle your own canoe.
“Don’t have children if you can’t afford them” is the “Let them eat cake” of the 21st century. It doesn’t matter how children got here, they need and deserve to be fed.0 -

What's ironic is that you clearly don't get it, which explains why you like to 'have a go'.Love many, trust few, learn to paddle your own canoe.

I too think this is a wind up -- so I stayed out of the thread. But if I hadn't, if I'd thought the post was genuine, I'd not have supported the OP.0 -

I have not boasted about anything at all I foolishly believed the forum may be helpful with likeminded people trying to do the best for thier family. I have also not judged anyone and have no desire to do so.
Judgemental people on here always see other peoples income and compare to their own outgoings.
How much do you think 3 sets of schools fees are? its not peanuts 17k for a 7 year old 21.5k for our 16 year old upto 24k for our 18 year old. I dont complain about a poor education system we make a decision to avoid it. You can spend your money on whatever you wish so can we.
Nothing we have came from the time Labour were in power other than the realisation they have made a complete mess of the place as they always have in history.Look after the pennys and the pounds will look after themselves:money:0 -

It explains why I like to have my opinion, its a public forum, these things happen. You dont have to like it or even agree with it and if you dont that is fine. Anyway I will leave you to get back to helping the OP as the rest of us are just bashing a newbie0 -
Well, it's not a wind up, there are many more interesting things to do than waste time doing that!
Bizarre comments indeed. Those with less income seem to assume if only they had more they would have nothing to do with it. That is simply not the case.
The standard of Universities is rather different to schools in the UK. Again we all can choose what we do with our incomes, each to their own.0 -

It's really not the point that matters, school in Dubai 2009 to 2012 and now in Cheshire.
The tax forum is probably where I should be.0
