Should Osborne Go? Cons Need To Act On Economy

Who could we have instead of Osborne as Chancellor? Things need to turn around in the next couple of months or we will lose our Triple A rating . If we do lose this crucial competence indicator, can Cameron surely allow Osborne to stay in place? He needs to start looking like a leader that is doing something about it ..... and because of Osbornes Plan A for austerity not working, theres nothing he can do to prevent what's coming? Except replace Osborne to paint a face-saving fresh approach?

Can we stop the Labour cheer leading and discuss:

    - House Prices
    - The Economy

This is off topic and reported as such. I encourage others to report this post too.

The Economy NEEDS to contract to a more sustainable level, it would be pretty much the same whoever was chancellor or whichever party was in power ..

Nothing like a bit of party propaganda in the morning. The Polly Toynbee better watch out, seems like she has competition.
  • Errr.... how can we discuss the economy without discussing it's steward? And the stewardship of the economy? 'Grim Economic News' was the BBCs own headline yesterday!

(PS The word economy is in the title of the thread. Point is, coulod another Con chancellor breathe a breath of fresh air, come up with some policies that might work?

Personally I don't mind Osborne. Could be worse, we could have this idiot.

Why oh why did Miliband hire Balls, he is incompetent. Remember he helped create the housing bubble, bankrupt the country and sold our gold cheap.

If any one should come in its Vince Cabble.

Anyway back to house prices, they are going to fall, they are overvalued.

Probably less than selling off our utilities, all that infrastructure and allowing so called "dirty"industries to be "closed down" leaving jobless wastelands or introducing legislation to allow the public housing stock to be sold off cheap under RTB.

All done in order to keep a sinking UK afloat.
