  • Vince Cable !! Now you're talking! I took quite a liking to him when he promised to 'nuke News International' over their sly BSkyB bid ! One or two of his suggestions have had some merit I must say.
  • PS of course... there's always those texts and calls he was reporting to be having with the other side.

Probably less than selling off our utilities, all that infrastructure and allowing so called "dirty"industries to be "closed down" leaving jobless wastelands or introducing legislation to allow the public housing stock to be sold off cheap under RTB.

All done in order to keep a sinking UK afloat.

Is keeping a sinking UK afloat a good or bad thing do you think?

On an individual level I'd rather be afloat than sunk.

There are more ways to keep a float, not taking on too much cargo and baggage is another.

Or they could stop the leaks.

If any one should come in its Vince Cabble.

Can't see them doing it it would weaken the cons control.

Whilst he seemed a pretty sound guy to start with and has some depth of experience he has made one or two gaffs too.

  • They could say that Osbo is too busy running the GE2015 campaign... and then put someone else in Chancellor spot (make like theyve got a different cunning plan...) but who from the Cons side?

In my view I would go for a rank outsider by the name of Matthew Hancock who is talented with economics to a high degree.

Presently Parliamentary Under Secretary for Education and Business Innovation and Skills...;)

Wow, that IS a rank outsider! But when you really get round to thinking about it... who actually even is there? No-one really around to step up to plate - so you never know... he could get a promotion!!

(PS absolutely catastrophic poll for Cam tonight on EU - so bad I darent even post thread about it... Ukip push Cons into 3rd place on EU - Lab on 35% Cons dire at 22% I think)
  • Osborne or Balls! Christ what a choice! regardless of who wins he next GE we get an idiot in No 11
