As little good as it will do, he does have a point.
It is insulting our intelligence to keep blaming Labour for what, over 2 years in, has now become a ConDem economic failure.0 -
Didn't Labour say they were going to do the same things as the Tories?
No Labours plan was to cut the deficit quicker
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-12-30/osborne-will-miss-labour-u-k-budget-deficit-target.htmlBritain’s Tory-led government, which set out in 2010 to implement tougher austerity plans than its Labour predecessor, would be set to break Labour’s own fiscal constraints had it not repealed the law after taking power.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
This has already been posted, I'm sure of it?
And funny if it got to 100,000? Just shows the state of the publics mindsets if it does.0 -
To be fair, it will probably take much more than two years to turn round this tanker.0

When some people run out of good conversation they then can only resort to being a little sarcastic and that can be summed up as...
...Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit since its aim is to belittle or hurt someone, and to laugh at their expense; we associate the word "cutting" with it.
Nonsense. Sarcasm is one of the best parts of British humour. I thought you of all folks would laugh 3x at a joke: when it's told, explained and finally when you get it.0 -

So to be clear, Labour are now complaining that the Tories are spending too little having previously planned to spend less. Is that right?
If that is right I'd like to ask a supplementary question: at what point did I go through the Looking Glass?0 -

Perhaps they wouldn't have wasted billions in changes for change sake.Just a thought."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

A very good point but I like to give you back what I receive otherwise I could well disappoint you, and that would not be fair, it is nice to know that you have a sense of humour which makes me feel better.
I can only treat a comment as a joke when I get to know what the person is alluding to in the first place.;)0 -
most of these moronic lefties still blame Thatcher for every woe in their life 25 years later.
the point is osbourne and cameron are two wet morons who wish they had an ounce of Thatcher's leadership qualities. they have tinkered and achieved nothing. they are too scared to do what actually needs to be done. that is because they care about popularity and being re-elected and Thatcher cared about doing what was right for the country.0 -

Just as a comment grizzly1911, maybe that after so many years of Conservative rule, Labour had decided that the people of our country deserved a better quality of life and to achieve this they could only spend money past the point of no return and beyond.
Another view we have is...IF they won the next election do you not think that they would have learned from mistakes made and follow new policies?0
