As little good as it will do, he does have a point.
It is insulting our intelligence to keep blaming Labour for what, over 2 years in, has now become a ConDem economic failure.

hamish is nearly as good as DLT/ TWH and bertie0 -
Didn't Labour say they were going to do the same things as the Tories?0

Why do the people who post these petitions never check their spelling/grammar? It seriously damages their argument.0

Didn't Labour say they were going to do the same things as the Tories?
And the Tories said they would do the same things as Labour.
Particularly on spending, where Cameron spent years in opposition proudly boasting that the Tories would match Labour spending plans.
Which makes all the political bickering on this board of late just silly.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

I've got no problem with discussing politics but all this Labour Yay! stuff is just plain boring. I put DLW on ignore which has improved my enjoyment of this board no end!0 -
If Cameron resigned wouldn't that leave Clegg in charge?“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0

What else can they do Hamish when they cannot get things to work out for themselves because now theres nobody else left to blame.
They need someone like Lord Heseltine to put them back on track.
It would be nice if they got things to work, put them in for a second term and see what happens, we could be pleasantly suprised.
At the moment Labour have no more ideas than the man in the Moon.0 -

When some people run out of good conversation they then can only resort to being a little sarcastic and that can be summed up as...
...Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit since its aim is to belittle or hurt someone, and to laugh at their expense; we associate the word "cutting" with it.0 -

Labour blamed the Tories for absolutely everything for YEARS when they first got in & I distinctly remember they were still doing it in 2007, because it amused me that even 10 years later they were still blaming the Tories for stuff.
Which isn't to say that the coaltion haven't been very poor. They've done nothing to remove red-tape or encourage business & the so-called austerity measures don't go remotely far enough.0
