What silly things irate you about your OH/ partner

Carefully putting clothes on the floor next to the washing basket just to wind me up0

My partner is great at home, nice and tidy, just how I like it but financially speaking - I opened his credit card bill y'day (honestly) by accident, he's paying a tenner a month but £6 in interest - he's always been like this, doesn't seem to realise he's throwing money away most of the time!0

Oh gawd I forgot the worst thing - hoarder of the highest order, when he moved in with me recently I was dreading where his `stuff` was going to go, he now has filled every single storage space in my flat, to the point I now have nowhere to store anything new! It's all crap too but still he won't part with it, it might come in useful one day.......oh really, I doubt it.0

Okay my missuses top five money losing issues that drive me around the bend.
1. All lights switched on at all times of day whatever room she enters.
2. The aforementioned lights are never switched off.
3. Always picks up from the front of the shelves in supermarkets. Hence short shelf life. Put them in the freezer you say. Well read on.
4. Persuaded me to buy a chest freezer to save dosh by making loads of meals or buying "yellow label" goods. However the !!!!in thing is permanently full and no doubt has Chicken Bhuna manufactured in 2009 on the bottom which I am unlikely ever to see unless Scott of the Antarctic steps by to explore the freezer.
5. Buying my favourite wine while she does her Tesco shop at £9 a bottle. The stuff is permanently on offer at £4 a bottle at Asda.0 -

Same here!! 95% of things in the house are his and take up whole spare room, like he still has boxes for a camera bought maybe 10 years ago despite the camera long since gone, and when I tell him to sort through it occasionally the amount never goes down!0 -

My ex did that. It drove me batty. A trail of shoes scattered the length of the house.
That and the dumps stuff anywhere, never cleared it up and then couldn't find something as she could remember where she dumped it!0 -

My wife leaves things on the stairs for the stair faries to come and collect. If things need to go upstairs she wont make the journey there and then, she'll put them on the stairs and then when she next goes up she;'ll just walk past them. Out of curiousity i've left the things she's put there to see how long it would take, it was driving me insane 3 weeks later!
Similarly when cleaning the kitchen floor she'll move some of the bigger items outside temporarily. On several occasions she's forgotten about them and they've stayed outside until its rained and whatever items were there have been wrecked! So far its wrecked a pair of shoes, a handbag, 2 mops, a wooden storage box and some kids toys. !!!!!! WOMAN SORT IT OUT!!:mad:MFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!0 -
In the interests of equality, a few things that annoy me about my wife:
- Always has to have the light of the cooker hood on - even if the kitchen is spotless and no one is in there. Why? If you want to see, you can use the main light - the switch is near the door, so is easier to quickly turn off and on.
- Never leaves the shower head in its holder. I never understand this, as in doing this it stretches the tube to the shower head, which will eventually cause it to break.
- Despite having two double wardrobes and nearly all the drawers in our bedroom full of her clothes, she still has nothing to wear and has to buy a new dress. Why? You have enough clothes, so wear one of those. If you are not going to wear them, get rid of them. Trying to encourage a rule of "if you want to buy something new, then you have to first git rid of something old"...not working yet though!
- Has to empty the bins every monday, even if they are half full. I never understand this, as our bins are collected on a Friday, so what is the point in emptying a half full bin on a monday?!
- Never fills the dishwasher up correctly, meaning half the stuff is not washed properly, or has water collected in it. The dishwasher is my domain. You cook, I tidy, lets leave it like that....
- In bed always takes most of the cover, meaning I have to aggresively cling on to what little cover I have left.
- Before bed spends ages checking forums on her phone. I thought we were going to bed, not lying in bed checking our phones?!
- always leaves a load of water in the washing up bowl in the sink. Why? It is dirty water, if you have finished with it, empty it out. Stagnant water breeds germs..
Saying that, I Love her dearly and would not change her for the world!0 -
Everything!
