The "excuse" of the Dutch KLM case is a desperate attempt , initially by Jet2 and now several other airlines to delay and procrastinate further. They hope to put claimants off by putting up further barriers.
I am not sure if Ryanair have any cases stayed in regard to this matter.
However this has little bearing on your individual case.
Assuming you have sent an NBA, its time to send your claim to court, via the Euro small claims route, as so expertly described by Dr Watson.
If you haven't sent an NBA then time to do so.
Many thanks for your response JPears. I have already sent a NBA therefore now on to Dr Watson's advice on the way forward.0 -
What do you think the odds are of further stays? I reckon very slim to none, given not even the Dutch Courts are staying!
V slim me thinks. The Dutch courts decisions speak volumes, but like JP says 'desperate times for them' so they seek desperate solutions..Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

Can't beat them Yorkshire folk from the steel city, and no I'm not on commission with Shefield Combined Court Centre!PatMaguire wrote: »We now have a Case Number and a target date of 28 January when (according to the Court) Ryanair must have replied. I await with interest. Again many thanks for your help on this.
They won't reply by then and when they do they will be quoting the KLM case and asking for a stay, but when they do reply you know what to do next.Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

I'm a bit confused about all this..
So am I.
More detail please, flight to and from where?
Reason for delay?
Only you taking the flight?Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

Yes you could do. But you might as well get your NBA sent, perhaps date if for end of Feb as time limit, then you may know outcomes of Liverpool case and decide if you wish to go forward or wait some more if cases are stayed ....
Many thanks again. I have had a quick trawl through the forum but did not spot whether an NBA can be sent by email or if it has to go by post?0 -

Only you taking the flight?
Flight from London to Milan, in the airport they wouldn't tell the reason, just kept saying they don't know and to wait. I sent a claim and they replied saying something about ATC equipment failure so they won't give me anything..
Only me as in, it's my company that made the booking and paid for the flight, not me, but it was me that was travelling and stuck in the airport.
I want to follow it up more, but I don't know if it would need to involve my company in it, or if it's still my right to claim anyway?0 -

MickyVerdi,
Personally i'd send by post to RA's customer service address and obtain your proof of postage. You can also attach it to their general complaints page on their website but, there are no guarantees that this will get acknowledged....mind you they probably won't even reply to your postal NBA.. but you still need to do it as part of the process.Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

PatMaguire wrote: »Many thanks for this. We had a bit of a false start with the paperwork so the claim was delayed a bit. I made the mistake of putting the claim against Ryanair in Euros as the form gave me that option, the EU Regs use that currency and as I am out of the UK for 5+ months a year I can tend to think just in Euros. Nice lady from Sheffield Combined Courts sent the papers back to us plus the cheque and I just reprinted the relevant pages with a new cheque which has now been accepted. UK courts seem able to sign up to EU-wide processes but then expect you to give a shot in the dark with a spot price for Euros - but there you are.0
