Well I emailed the court and telephoned them and wrote....
My paperwork has always arrived several days before his for some odd reason, always both dated the same....
Anyway his has jsut arrived, and would you believe it they allocated his to the County court 30 miles away!!!! and yet mine is over 120!!!!
I wonder do they actually read any of these forms...we shall see if they move mine closer...
I would have to go over the day before and stay the night, as getting anywhere from here is the pits....
I know its a daft question but would those costs be added to the claim?0 -
Any other advice or pointers would be appreciated. I am nervous but determined.
As soon as I can after the hearing tomorrow I will come on here to let everyone know how it went.
Just take it easy and relax. My Judge realised I was not a lawyer/barrister and treated me accordingly by guiding me through matters. Just stick to the facts. Good luck for the hearing0 -
Hi guys,
Is the missing paper work you are referring to the answers from the allocation questionnaire?
Reason I ask is that I wrote several questions for Monarch in this which would help further explain the delay. This was in March and the only correspondence I've had back is just to say the case has been refereed to our local court and to await a date.
Should I not expect any answers to my questions? Feel like I could be arriving without knowing the full story otherwise as still don't know if was even our flight that had the fault!

Thanks. The same interest rate is applicable in Scotland and although interest rates may have fallen generally since 8% was first set I can show that I still receive 8% from a First Direct account and 6% from an HBOS account and have done for some years, so not unheard of then.
Any other advice or pointers would be appreciated. I am nervous but determined. I have not heard from monarch since before the Bank holiday weekend.
As soon as I can after the hearing tomorrow I will come on here to let everyone know how it went.If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Hi
quick update on mine. Got notified this morning that my case has been transferred to Lincoln !!! I'm in Liverpool !!! Rang Lincoln CC and they think an admin error has occurred so this will be put back in fron of a judge who should then send the file to Liverpool CC. If you end up being allocated a random court, I would question it!0 -
I finally received notification this morning that my case has been transferred to my local court in Winchester. Now just waiting for a date ..0

I'm not sure whether the old saying that "no news is good news" applies in my situation, but I sent in an enquiry to Flightmole almost a fortnight ago and apart from an automated reply, I've heard nothing.
I was initially unsure as to whether I should try and tackle court proceedings myself or entrust it to an expert, therefore I filled in the Flightmole online form in order to at least get some guidance as to whether my claim is likely to succeed in court. Having read some of the recent posts, I am more inclined to let Flightmole deal with it, but I'm hesitant to chase my query up as I've no doubt they are snowed under and I don't want to appear impatient.
Has anyone else had any dealings with Flightmole and if so, are they approachable?
P.S. Just as I was typing this post, I received an email from Monarch regarding my second query about their refusal reasons. It reads;
"Thank you for your e-mail
I am sorry that you do not feel that Monarch Airlines has provided sufficient information relating to your claim. Having reviewed the correspondence that has been sent to you, I am confident that sufficient detail has been provided in order to justify the decision made. Consequently we will not be providing any further information or documentation unless requested by the Courts or relevant Aviation Enforcement Body"
No more help from that quarter then!0 -
