I joined the Skoda forum http://www.briskoda.net/ but my posts are being deleted. All I said was that Skoda's were rusty pieces of overpriced s**t and that anyone owning one was a retard.

I did go through my eighties Skoda joke routine too but unfortunately they don't seem to have a sense of humour.

Why do Skoda's have heated rear windscreens? To keep your hands warm when you're pushing them in winter.

How do you double the value of a Skoda? Fill the tank with petrol.

What do you call a Skoda with a twin exhaust? A wheelbarrow.

Just stuff to do with housing, but i think i will have to give that site a miss now.

Can't speak for the site in question, but it's easy to get victimised on some sites. They are often small and privately run. The so-called moderators, and some of the punters, are well in with, or sometime personally known to those who own and run it. Anyone who speaks out of turn, rocks the boat, or upsets the faithful, will receive heavy flak by a 'hunting pack', then threatening if not abusive PMs, and finally excommunication. Attempts to put over a point or self-justify will be censored or deleted by the bent moderators, whilst the counter-moves by their mates will of course be allowed. I have even know outrageous security breaches used a as a 'weapon'. In such cases you are effectively invading the privacy of a private club, no doubt with more than a few obsessive wierdos among it's membership, whilst failing to abide by its unspoken rules and cultural norms.

Bigger sites with a commercial angle will often have paid moderators to filter out the heresy. They are there for marketing and PR purposes, not to allow the sweaty masses to badmouth them by speaking the unpalatable truth.

In all such cases, best to just butt out -- it's a no-win situation.
